We are a husband and wife team devoted to supporting individuals, couples and families looking for deeper connection and purpose in their lives. We believe therapy can profoundly improve quality of life and relationships. we are dedicated to supporting you on your journey.

Hi, I’m Whitney.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I specialize in Perinatal Mental Health, Anxiety, and Parenting Relationships.

If you are like many of the people I see in my practice, you may be feeling overwhelmed as you attempt to manage your newfound responsibilities while showing up as the parent and partner you want to be. Navigating a committed relationship has its own challenges, and adding children to the mix can de-stabilize even the most harmonious of relationships.

If you are pregnant, you may worry, like many others, about the health of the baby during pregnancy, the labor and birth process, the recovery period after the baby is born, or adjusting to motherhood. New parents often worry about relationship dynamics with a partner, child or other family members after the baby comes.

If this sounds familiar, know that there is help for what you are going through. Becoming a mother or new parent or bringing another child into the world is an enormous life transition. It is possible to get the support you need during this time and find relief. Contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation to get support now.

about michael.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and I have a true passion for psychotherapy.

I believe in the power of therapy. Therapy is a tool for helping you to discover the person you want to be. First, you have to discover and discard some of the things holding you back. This can be painful. It’s also necessary.

I have found it’s vital to look at depression, anxiety and addiction in a more nuanced view. It’s important to look at these things as symptoms and not the parts that make you up. These symptoms are a call from your psyche to make changes, address unresolved issues and to move towards the person you are meant to be.

I know this because this is what was happened to me. In 2012, I entered recovery and found that I was not living the life I was meant to. It was through arduous and painful work in psychotherapy and a recovery community, I moved through and processed what I needed to in order to become the person I am today. This work is what Jung referred to as the Individuation process. The psyche or souls development and I, like Jung feel it is our task on earth to continue to grow and become the best possible version of ourselves.

If this resonates with you, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss next steps.
